The Tokyo Type Directors Club (Tokyo TDC), established in 1987, has hosted the Tokyo TDC Annual Awards since 1990. Dedicated to exploring the diverse possibilities of typography and visual text within contemporary design, it stands as one of the most influential professional awards in the global graphic design community.

This year, the Tokyo TDC Annual Awards received 3,605 entries. Following a rigorous jury process, UDL has been honored with three "Excellent Works" selections:

• "penta" – Album visual identity for musician Diner, by the Fan Ding / Jianping He team.

• "Seen by" – Online cover design for photographer Ye Fei's long-term personal project.

• "SNAKE" – Interactive digital game and console design for BALENCIAGA’s Year of the Snake gift project, by the Xiang Li / Chen Xing team.

These three works will be featured in the Tokyo TDC Vol. 37 (Annual 2026) and showcased at the Ginza Graphic Gallery from April 3 to May 16, 2026.
